Suggestion: PvP dedicated map

So, I'm still kind of new to the game (been playing for around 4 to 5 months), but I've been playing mmorpg's for 15 years, and there's something I feel it's missing in this game and that would be open world pvp. I know there're pvp instances, but still it's not as fun (for me at least) as open world pvp.

I know pvp is not for everyone, but making a map dedicated to pvp only would actually be fun and rewarding to those people like me, who enjoy fighting others out of the blue just for fun.

The map would have:

• Fortresses or camps that allow players from certain GC access to pvp instances if that camp is "owned" by your current GC (the camps or fortress would have a reset time, and it can be taken from each other too)

• Daily or weekly quests that help players to farm a certain item (similar to wolf medals) which you can use to buy pvp stuff later or upgrade pvp gear, or mounts, or hairstyles, etc.

Of course I'd be cross-world.
I don't know if this kind of ideas was posted before, but I really believe it would be worth a shot to give it a try and it wpuld help to keep PvP active. :o

This idea is intriguing. However, “intriguing” is as far as it goes for me. I would not want to see this for a few reasons:

open PvP=higher level players destroying lower leveled ones

Content required or wanted in PvP zones=too bad if you’re lower level

I mean, if there was nothing required from there, and anything attainable there is attainable somewhere else for a reasonable price, and level sync/sorted areas, then this would be a good idea.

basically you want a "dark zone" like the division put in the game. thing is in order to incentivize people going into it they're gonna have to put decent rewards into it. a big majority of people do NOT want open world PVP in the game.

Regarding the problem with higher lvl players destroying lower lvl ones, it can be fixed by adding a debuff (like decreased movement speed) if a player kills more than three times another one that it's 5 or 10 lvls lower than himself. Lower lvl players can be identified with their names in a different color.

The idea of this map is to be PvP focused meaning all the items you can farm or get, are PvP oriented and not useful or required for players who don't want to do PvP. Still, right now we already have some items that are only obtainable with Wolf Marks (like hairstyles or nice looking gear). Maybe making some of these items to be sellable would be a nice idea and even more rewarding for those who invest their time PvPeing. :o

I undestand the not wanting your leveling or usual questing interrupted by PvP, and that's why it would be a zone dedicated to it. There's still a lot of people who enjoy PvP and the actual system is not much fun to be honest.
The rewards should be similar to the ones you that exist right now in PvP. :)
