Server Locks and 2.0/PS3 release.

So after all the server mergers are completed or once a server hits Cap and we reach a certain Date the servers will be locked. Will the server Caps be raised At 2.0 or Around PS3 release date? i Understand servers will be added if Needed but how about New players joining servers friends are in?.. For example i have about 5 friends who are Waiting on PS3 release because they cannot afford to dish out money for a PC capable of playing the game on its current engine. Would they have to go to a Dif server or will the server caps be lifted at that time?

On another topic Does anyone know if the Japanese PC version of this game have a Regional lock or can we use it with no issues? Thanks.

If I've read the posts on the forums about this world merge correctly, the caps in place now are just targets to ensure people don't cluster up on a few servers, so that people spread out and all the servers can have enough population to really function well until 2.0.

Of course, the hardware has an effective cap it can run smoothly with as well, but I believe the caps for the merge are intentionally set below that threshold.

Servers will be upgraded for 2.0 allowing a higher cap, but yeah I think these caps are to balance the servers.

I think the caps are only during the merge. After the merge, once every char transfered to the new worlds, the servers could be again unlocked.

Client and server will be new on 2.0 I assume they wont have a sucky limit.
