Graphical Issues - The Sea of Clouds
In the zone, "The Sea of Clouds," I noticed white polygons when viewing objects from a certain distance. I played around with the graphics settings and resolved it by unchecking "use low detail on distant objects." I played years ago and remember this same issue.
Is this a bug or do I just need to set those higher options for large zones and it's working as intended (intended that I use higher settings!). Running without LOD is fine on my card, just wanted to report this.
Some details:
- Screenshot attached with coordinates listed (x15.8, y37.9, z0.7)
- Windows 10 Home 64 bit
- DirectX Version 12
- NVIDIA Quadro P5000
- When I disable LOD all looks good.
When I noticed this a few years back, I had a completely different NVIDIA card (and PC) though don't quite remember the model, think it was a GTX something.
Anyway, if possible, let me know if this is just how the graphics work, I want to make sure my setup isn't (and game) isn't broken. I have no problem disabling LOD and my card can handle it fine. Thanks!
