Role play realm? Balmung or Baby Balmung.... I mean Mateus.

Balmung, Mateus and Omega are the most prominent but there's pockets of role-players to be found on other servers such as Cerberus if you do a bit of digging. Unfortunately there are a lot of flaky individuals in FFXIV's role-playing community so even on the busier servers it might take some time to settle and establish some reliable contacts.

There's also a site devoted to RP in FFXIV, as found here:

It is, admittedly, more geared towards Balmung and Mateus...though players from other servers do pop up from time to time.

Hurry and come to Balmung if you're interested! It tends to get locked down for months at a time due it it's high population. I'd at least make an alt to hold your place in case you ever want to check it out. It'll most likely be closed off again in the future.

The only way to change that is for people on other servers to actually...post there. (Which has also been a struggle to convince a general amount of Mateus players to do.) We've been seeing some increased activity from Siren and Hyperion in the last couple weeks. Making use of the tags and prefixes is also a great way to boost visibility for other servers as they can directly link to just their content and optimize searches.
