[NEW] 1 vs 1 PvP Tournaments [DPS ONLY]

Hi everyone! As long as I remember, since I started playing FFXIV I always wanted to be able to create a competition like this. Something that, for whatever reason, this game lacks.
The idea is to create a bracket-based tournament to be held at The Wolves' Den Pier. No Fest, No Party, No nothing. Just the two competitors that will battle against eachother in duels. The first to obtain 3 wins out of 5 rounds, passes to the next stage.
The Tournament is divided into 2 categories, for obvious reasons: Melee and Ranged. And for the same reasons Tanks and Healers will be banned from the competition. We thought, after some mock battles that this was the best course to take both for enjoyement and fairness.

There will be three tiers: BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD cups. For every cup, 32 partecipants will compete in a five round 1 vs 1 battle. The first to reach 3 victories will advance to the next stage of the competition for a maximum of 5 stages:
- 1st stage, 32 players;
- 2nd stage, 16 p.;
- 3rd stage, 8 p.;
- 4th stage, 4 p.;
- 5th stage, 2+2 p.(the 2 finalists and the 2 semifinalist losers). This last round will see two challenges. The first one to decide the third place and the last to decide the winner.

For a good tournament, though, one would expect some sort of reward. To be able to offer that, we need to ask for an entrance fee. The table below shows the amounts we would like to propose and the rewards we would like to give:

- Bronze Tier -> 10.000 gil
- Silver Tier ---> 100.000 gil
- Gold Tier ----> 250.000 gil

- Bronze Tier: 1st place - 200.000 gil; 2nd place - 80.000 gil; 3rd place - 40.000 gil.
- Silver Tier: 1st place - 2.000.000 gil; 2nd place - 800.000 gil; 3rd place - 400.000 gil.
- Gold Tier: 1st place - 5.000.000 gil; 2nd place - 2.000.000 gil; 3rd place - 1.000.000 gil

As you can see all the money we get from gil fees, will become rewards for the first three places. Nothing will be "held" for tournament expenses, cuz there is obviously none.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND THAT NO REAL MONEY WILL BE ACCEPTED AND/OR REWARDED FROM THESE EVENTS.
