All Saints’ Wake is upon us once more, and we are challenging adventurers across Hydaelyn to create a delightful, or a frightful comic strip! By the dim light of jack-o’-lanterns – will you be the one to send chills down our spines, or to make us laugh so hard it will shake us to the core?

Take four screenshots and turn them into a hilarious or frightful comic strip!

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 18 years of age or older at the date and time of entry. Contestants under the age of 18 must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian of at least 18 years of age.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between October 19, 2018 at 10:00 GMT (11:00 BST) and November 2, 2018 at 23:59 GMT (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step 1: Entrants must create a four panel comic strip in Final Fantasy XIV (“FFXIV”) using screenshots, speech balloons and/or plain text themed after the All Saint’s Wake in-game event depicting hilarious, or spooky, chilling moments.

Step 2: Entrants must submit the four panel comic strip on the FFXIV Lodestone forum thread or through the Square Enix Upload website: https://sqex.to/WPL

Take four screenshots and add text (with or without speech bubbles) to at least one screenshot.

More than one person can appear in the screenshot but only the entrant (who took the screenshot) is eligible for a prize

The theme is All Saints’ Wake event and you have to participate in the theme. Your entry can feature an All Saints’ Wake related reward, NPC, location or glamour. The items (glamour, decoration et cetera) can be from past All Saints’ Wake events.

In your entry, include your character name and World name. If no character name or World name is submitted, the prize will be awarded to the character on the entrant's forum handle. Your in-game character needs to appear in at least one screenshot.

(Optional) Entrants may include one brief comment (50 words max).

Include the in-game item prize that you would like to receive from the list below. If no item is selected, one will be chosen for you

You must have an active FFXIV service account (which includes free trial members)

You may only use image editing software to crop the screenshots and add the text and/or speech bubbles / icons.

Entries are limited to one (1) per person, one (1) FFXIV account

Entries that violate the contest rules will be moderated/removed and the entry will be disqualified

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select ten (10) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

Sponsor’s Community team will judge participants based on the story of the comic, its creativity, humour and quality of the screenshots.
G. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive each of the following prize(s):
One of their choosing:

i. Ahriman Choker;

ii. Mandragora Choker

iii. Bluebird Earing

iv. Scarf of Wondrous Wit; or

v. Chocobo Noble Barding

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about November 16, 2018 via the FFXIV Lodestone forum where a thread will list the winning entries.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix Limited.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE LEGALLY ACQUIRED ACCESS TO FINAL FANTASY XIV OR YOU MUST BE A FREE TRIAL PLAYER PRIOR TO THE LAUNCH OF THE PROMOTION. PRIZES SHALL BE DELIVERED VIA THE IN-GAME MOOGLE DELIVERY SERVICE (WHICH MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT SPONSOR’S DISCRETION).
