do you truly not like pet job? I often seen pet jobs as way bring more people into a MMO because be able work with it also attract players feel attach to the game. in really life no really person will be able owned at tiger without face fear that animal will turn on them. in mmo the ability to tame and have tiger fight at your side give your player some animal to feel attach to.
so my question is to Yoshi P is do you truly dislike pet jobs
Yoshi P doesn't answer random forum threads, at least not English ones as far as I'm aware.
For better or worse I don't really see FF XIV adding another pet job. Especially not one like WoW where you can go out into the world and tame a wide variety of animals to use. Looking at the state of the summoner egi glamour system, which has gone almost a full expansion now without an update, I wouldn't expect a fleshed out beastmaster pet class in this game.
But why would you ever need a pet other than Bahamut?
First, that's a question for live letters.
Second, look at SMN and ask yourself if you really want beastmaster to be stuck with only 3 pets +1 for five xpacs.

You want the company who has had trouble with pet jobs to ad a pet job. I know different teams but even in XI the only job they didn't seem to mess up or make one part of that job useless at times was bst. So maybe they could make bst be ok in XIV but with how they've handled just the one here I have my doubts on how well they'd make it.
Probable reason you wont see beast master is due to how unwieldy the system would be. Pets right now are extremely simplified for what tehy do, and are still semi janky (Its seems common among Summoners that at the moment, having your pet on autopilot is fine, and for Scholars it may be the same way, save maybe a bit more direction about where your pet is positioned and what it should do.)
I think if that there is two ways to go with it: Pets make up a bulk of hte damage and that would result in a pretty hard system to manage in combat, or pets would be minor additional damage, making beastmaster just a regular dps class with something that gives a bit of damage on the side.
Both ways dont sound great.
I hope we see improvement made summoner and they pets and aswell see beastmaster jobs
It would be cool. But it will never happen that way, because the devs are always trying to make things easier for themselves, to keep the immaculate formula being followed forever, and that kind of Job would turn their work a lot harder.
I bet they will transform the Job system into something even simple the next expansion. Sadly because players are demanding for simple things. The crowd for complex systems for Jobs is just not enough big or loud.
I bet I will need to trash this game if things got even not entertaining next expansion for the main thing for me, the Jobs.
I wish they have place for complex jobs too

why must we always go to simple jobs system in wow they did away Class talent tree which was part the fun world of Warcraft. the simpefeid the pet system. I wish SE would toss us want more Complex jobs a bone sometimes
