(BLU) Can we get a distance decrease or potency redistribution on Displacement?

Normally I wouldn't care that much, but seeing as we're starting to get fights in 4.4 where we literally cannot use it in certain phases without landing OOB and dying, it seems rather unfair that RDM has damage tied to this skill yet is unable to use it.

Repelling Shot doesn't face the same problem because its jumpback distance is shorter (and it no longer does any damage or literally anything else so some people never bother with it anyway)

Elusive Jump doesn't face the same problem because it doesn't require a target, meaning with careful positioning it often can still be used. (Also, it never did any damage)

As minor of a gripe as it may be, Displacement is still a part of RDM's DPS rotation and therefore it feels like the class got shafted a bit with the way some of these new fights are designed. If battlefields are going to start regularly becoming too compact for Displacement to be used, I request a jumpback distance decrease on this skill to compensate for that.

The other alternative would be to have the damage taken away from Displacement and added to Corps-a-corps or something else in their standard rotation (which honestly seems more likely to happen because of what happened to Repelling Shot and other off-GCDs of its ilk) and as long as that is done fairly, I'd be fine with that too.

The topic title should say RDM, obviously. -_- I guess I still haven't forgotten about blue mage...

I posted a similar thread complaining about the same thing. Yeah, these savage fights are ridiculous when it comes to the downtime of Displacement.
