Full Sets Bonus Idea

I don't if there is a topic about this or not but I just got the perfect idea for the U/U face to double melded synthesised gear.

While me and some group were farming Sentinel Sabatons one guy said: damn we should get full gear bonus...

And me was like huh? What full set bonus? Then the idea pop on my head and said: Oh! Like in Diablo II? He didn't play the game but was enough to post here this (I don't know if FFXI had this, didn't play it).

So the basic idea is when you get 2-3 pieces of same gear set you get a slight bonus. Having 4 add other bonus. Having the 5 another one. And last to get the full set would get not only the bonus of each of them but new ones to make worth to use it.

Note: this is for Unique Gear and not crafted gear!

Example of Sentinel Set possible bonus:

2 Pieces: increase enmity +20
3 Pieces: increase vitality +20
4 pieces: increase defense +50
5 pieces: increase HP +250

Full set:
+500 HP
+100 MP
+100 Defense
+40 enmity
+40 vitality
+40 Evasion
+40 Magic Evasion
+20 critical Evasion
+50 Attack Power
+<some special effect on hit or (input your idea here)>

Of course when we wouldn't have the whole set the other pieces bonus would be present.

So in the full set gears of U/U would be on par or even superior to double and triple melds. Or better make them meldable and everyone is happy.

And this concept would work for the future AF gears that are coming up for our jobs. Make them worth it and don't become another town cloth for fashion please SE.

I would still be in favor of just making them melding so i dont get locked into the whole set. But set bonus could be a nice alternative or something to use in conjunction with melding. I find it very disturbing the SH's are nothing more then a place to lvl since the gear is undesirable.
