Last night after downloading the relatively small patch for 4.41 my PS4 took about 20+ minutes to copy the "update file". This has never happened before with the old system for updates. Is this going to be a regular occurrence during patches and hotfixes requiring a file download. My PS4 was off, not in sleep mode as I don't like leaving it sleep mode but if this is the only work around so be it. I just don't think this is an improvement which SE promised with a smaller install file.

The download and installation process for Final Fantasy XIV on PS4 is handled via the Playstion Network now. If you are experiencing issues with the installation process, I'd suggest contacting Playstation support here: https://support.us.playstation.com/
