Need Help on Aether Server Info

Ok so the community guild im in is trying to get an FC built up on XIV. But they cant decide on the server. From what i understand they want a RP server on Aether data center. Balmung is not considered due to it being close/too hard to get on it. So i told the Mateus based on what i know and have been told from others on Balmung, but there afraid its just another Balmung with it closing during prime time.
I have no idea what other servers in the Aether data center has a good pop of RPers like Balmung other than Mateus. Im not big on the RP scean so i know little on it, just trying to help them pick a server.
Thought asking here may help with getting info for them.

The only places I have heard of having RP is Balmung, Mateus, Behemoth, I THINK Gilga still might have a small amount, and a few smaller servers sprinkled here and there.

Only it depends on what the guild wants. Balmung despite how hard it is to get into, is ya best bet if you really want to have a large RP scene with like they said, Mateus being second and trinkling down from there.

Coeurl has a small rp population.

Jenova has a decent roleplay community and a few FCs dedicated to it, along with linkshells.

There are small pools or RPers on nearly all servers, but if you want more than just a small pool of RPers then your choices are either Balmung or Mateus in the Aether datacenter, or Omega in the Chaos datacenter.

All servers occasionally get closed temporarily for character creation during prime time. For most of them it is just a few hours at most, with the rest of the day being fine for character creation. Mateus is no exception to this.

Balmung used to be an exception to this, in that the "temporary" closing used to be active 99.99% of the time - until it was made a "Congested" server at which point it was straight out impossible to make new characters there.
Right now Balmung is open for character creation, but no idea how long that will last.

If you want an RP server in either of the US data centers, go to Mateus. Except for Balmung, no other server comes close to the amount of RP available on Mateus.
Character creation might be closed during peak hours, but during off-peak hours it should be no problem making a character there.

I think we could squeeze another thousand or two players in Balmung xD.
