Be Able To Hire New Genders As Retainers?

Disregard the thread's title. I should have realized to put missing instead of "new", but my outlook for 2.0 was "NEW" so I wasn't thinking straight, you could say. :o

This has probably been thought of by the devs already, but it doesn't hurt to ask. :D

Will we be able to hire the missing genders as retainers in 2.0?

Fixed that for ya. Only 2 genders in game, male & female. ;)

Ah, I did think of that, but they aren't really new races. Just the missing genders of said existing races. Thank you for the correction nonetheless. :cool:

hahah maybe. I knew what ya meant but sometimes the community can get a bit cranky for stuff like that lol. ;) But really, mines not correct either since you are too correct. So looks like title maybe should have said missing Genders and or Races? :D

LMAO! Haha like peas in a POD. I think I'd like to see the missing genders/races as optional retainers; could be fun. Not a priority but a nice little something to let the Devs have fun with for once in 2.0 or 2.1. :) Can't hurt. Tired of seeing the same old same old in the wards. But, if they opt in for an AH then this conversation could be moot. :s

I don't think they are going to get rid of them even if an AH makes an appearance. They'd most likely still be used as storage NPCs. Only difference is that other players will no longer be able to see them. But it's not like everyone doesn't have duplicate retainers because their looks are so limited. ^^;

We will make it possible to be able to use the new races for your retainers when they are implemented in 2.0.


Hmmm... I will have to let go of one of my male Elezen for a male Miqo'te. This might just be one of the hardest decisions of my life. :(

You obviously don't have my character model as your Elezen! Because it would not even be a decision then.
