Possible to skip Eureka/Pagos?

And get the required ilvl equipment through other means? Can I for example just buy equip on the market so that I never have to set foot in there or is that not recommended?

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but if you're trying to raid I think pentameld crafted gear is good enough for the first few floors?

If you aren't trying to raid then again, crafted gear is fine until you get the tome gear. I don't really get why people are so upset/annoyed with Eureka when the relic will be outdated like what 2 months after you get it? Just don't do it something better will replace it soon.

Is that the ilvl 380 crafted gear?

I'm sorry I'm actually new to the endgame content and I try to carefully plan how to get up with those ilvls because I know that too much grinding will burn me out quickly.

Yeah that's the gear. I would double check though, just to make sure it's still ok to start raiding in the crafted set.

I know I've never done a relic weapon, ever, don't get the point and no one's turned me down from any statics or anything.

That's been my approach. I've never once touched anything related to Eureka. And so far, it's cost me absolutely nothing. New patch drops, I craft some new gear, and that tides me over until I start getting tome gear & Savage drops. Eureka gear now is about as useful as previous relics currently are- as glamour and little else.

Eureka was a system that had a lot of potential, but sadly SE let it go and cannot seem to find the happy middle ground with their player base. There are lots of other way to get entry level gear for raiding, and need to do what works for you.

With the removal of the Mendacity cap if you run the MSQ, dungeons and raids up into lvl 70 you should get enough tomes and coins to upgrade your gear to 360/370 reasonably fast. 360/370 ilvl is just fine for the normal level Alphascape raids that will let you upgrade to 380 stuff. One thing I've found with this game is getting geared up to the next level content isn't really a problem and higher level gear shows up about the time you need to start using it.

Literally everything in the game is mob grinding.

As much as I hope it is for the relic, I doubt it. I'd also be fine with Pyros taking a bit longer than the other 2 areas as well for the relic grind so long as it's tolerable if people choose to skip the first 2 areas entirely. Having to level should stay as is though, imo. Otherwise yeah, there's a few avenues you can take OP. Tome gear, crafted gear and Alphascape will do just fine. Tome gear and Alphascape gear are free though.
