error 90006
Hello. I am experiencing an error from the game as stated in title, error 90006.
I have spent days trying to resolve this. I have tried internet option settings and port forwarding from the information provided in the forums by previous users and moderators. Game is unplayable with this issue as I am disconnected every 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
This is on PC running windows 10 x64
ISP is Verizon
What other information is needed. Will hover this post for a while until my connection is a 2 hour solid.
Something to add on.. Using a Asus AC RT-3100
Based on the server that I connect to found on the internet with the IP address of : 204.2.229.10

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
When did this first start happening? Did anything change/update on your PC that coincides with this?
You mention that you disconnect within 2 minutes of logging in, have you tried this on only one character, or does it happen with multiple characters? What location are these characters in?
Can you list everything you've tried to alleviate the issue?
Are you using a wired or wireless connection? The information you provided above suggests both.
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

I'll check back this weekend... and will update on issue.

I have not played this game since last year from 2 weeks ago and I have never come across this error. Freshly installed client directly from SE and not Steam. As for my characters I only use 1 but I did play on the previous server before doing world transfers from Cactuar into Behemoth WITH the current problem and with an attempt to just change servers in hopes of this disappearing.. it did not.
...Okay, today I've returned to play FF14.. the problem still occurs. I went out and reached my ISP(Verizon of New Jersey) and have concluded that are indeed missing hops from a tested tracert. Due the support agent with limited knowledge on networking I have setup a appointment with a tech next day.
I have tried wired and wireless connections, port forwarding ( I might have that incorrectly set up), resetting routers/ computers.

The above link is the port forwarding that I attempted, please take a look and please correct me on this if wrong.

I tried playing with my phone's mobile hotspot function. Game played flawlessly... beginning to think there is something interfering between my network. Will come back to this with an update
