Stop being snowflakes

Since when does people got triggered by anything? What the hell is happing with the community?

How did we even get this far? Why do people take things that personally? I m not talking about insulting messages, those should be definitely reported and blacklisted. But since when are people so offended about vote kicks, macros, emotes or even having a mentor, that they need to spread it by opening new threads here, on facebook or anything else?

Just get over it and maybe think about if you maaaaaybeeeee did something wrong. In my over 4 years playing FFXIV, I ve encountered only 2 or 3 situations where people really p***ed me off. And I m living on the german drama server (just kidding) ; )

Nevertheless, I kinda miss the old days. When macros are just macros. When double classes doesnt care. When people at least know their job and acting like: "oh, I made a mistake. sorry" - "no problem, lets try again".

Nowadays people are p***ed about anything. Mentors. Beginners. Wipes. Feast. Eureka. Parsers. Lalafells. Lalafell jokes. Macros. Emotes. Votekicks. Marketboards. Good players (Elitists). Bad players. Minfillia. Haurchefant. ERP. RP. FFXIV. Forums. Me (lul).

Does this game have not enough content, that some people feels so bored that anything deserves its own thread now? Just relax and play the game. Just be nice and know your stuff, then nothing bad will happen to you.

This will end well.

I just went back to page 1857 and immediately found a thread complaining about melees being excluded from Garuda EX, one about FATE issues with Odin and one about a tank complaining about being kicked from DF, among others.

I'm convinced "the old days" are like the Wolpertinger.

If not snowflakes I'll go with being cornflakes.
