Exchanging the Scarf of Wondrous Wit?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this. I’m not a regular user of the forums but I was told to post my request here.

A friend recently told me that since I obtained the Scarf of Wondrous Wit from entering a competition back in 2016, and now that the item is possible to purchase via the Itinerant Moogle, I am apparently capable of asking for it to be exchanged for something else.

I was told to contact MogStation Support, and I did so, hoping to verify my friend's claim. Unfortunately since it doesnt count as a technical issue, I was met with a response telling me to post on the forums.

The mail says, and I quote: “Unfortunately the GM Team cannot deal with this type of request. Therefore we would be very grateful if you could submit your request on our official forums. your feedback will then be forwarded to the appropriate department by our Community Representatives…”

Anyway, I was hoping to exchange my Scarf of Wondrous Wit for the Bluebird Earring if that were indeed possible. Again, I apologize if this is the incorrect place to post.
