Bug in Companion app?

Firstly I’m not sure if this topic needs to go in a different forum. I looked all over and haven’t found any discussions about the app. To the point: why does it not auto stack items with like items when moving between your inventory, chocobo saddlebags and retainers? I have, like a lot of people, maxed out space in several of those areas and when trying to move stuff around in the app if they don’t stack like in-game it artificially inflates the number of item slots my stuff takes up. So frustrating.

Glad I’m not the only one :( very annoying, really hope this gets fixed soon.

A year later and still no fix? So we can move items between retainers but THEY DONT STACK! How is that even possible? This is what we pay an extra $5 a month for?

The real bug is that it exists. Its unusable garbage - charging currency to literally do anything (but can't do the things you want like manage retainers).

Couple this with ffxiv having probably the worst inventory management system of any game in the last decade.
