Suggestion - Doman Enclave reward house

I am in love with the Doman Enclave, and with how the restoration effort is progressing. Though I kind of wish we could roll up our armored sleeves and pitch in more directly somehow, I have been enjoying the Warrior of Light's role as beneficent patron, too. :)

But more than that, I am in love with the whole décor, the themes, the architecture(!), the warm lighting... and it occurred to me, gazing approvingly at the new rice fields (did you notice the water wheel they are building at the back?!), that my Warrior of Light wouldn't mind living there.

So what if, in their eternal gratitude for my patronage and unwavering support, the people of the Enclave set aside a small house and walled plot somewhere in town. Then, when the Restoration is far enough along, they can all gather together and spring a huge surprise, by presenting this tiny home to the big heart that has helped their current and future success!

Honestly, I would be thrilled. And in the interest of saving the server folks from heart attacks at the suggestion that -every- player gets one (imagine the server load!), I find it a perfectly acceptable trade-off if some or all of the house is only minimally customizable. Not only would it save on server resources, it would keep the home architecturally matched to the rest of town. If that is how it would have to happen, I'm good with it. :)

I hope it's an idea that can take root and come to fruition just as much as the Enclave seems to be!

I like the idea of having a mini house, probably something with an exterior set by the area its in and then a small space inside to decorate as we wish. I'd rather have a small house in the scenery of Doma than in one of the neighborhoods with the Paissa mansions tbh

Think it is asking to much, already got 4000+ housing plots and some of those areas lesser used than others and some wards owned by a single person here and there too... if anything make more space for items to placed in current ones, as for large houses needing the most love if anything.

It would be a good experiment for them if they're open to making instanced housing with outdoor areas. Enter the house and you're in your personal instanced version with wall patio in back for outdoor furnishings. Exit and you're placed right back in the Enclave with other players. The only issue would be how to allow other players to visit without having to scroll through a massive directory to find a friend's specific instance (have the directory only show players on your friends list that set up their house perhaps?).

imo that would be too generous

You know, I love the donation feature since it makes you some gils (I think?), and you are directly contributing to the restoration of Doman's architectures, but it would be better if they have a further architectures upgrade after you finish the whole side quest missions: After reconstructing the final piece, Shazenkai, you will be given task to donate in order to upgrade the previous architectures you helped restoring so they will look as modern as that of Kugane (Imagine Ten Thousand Stalls turning from a small outdoor restaurant into a big, organized one)

I'd just settle for a logout inn. That way it wont feel like the Enclave is far away from a proper rest area.

They could use RuneScape's method, in which you click on the housing portal and type in the name of the player whose house you want to visit.
Or maybe they could have a list of options such as 'View Directory' [opens up submenu where you can enter search parameters to find a house] 'Visit Friend's Estate/Plot' [opens up submenu for friend-specific listings] and 'Visit Random Plot/Plot Roulette' [exactly what it says on the tin although it would be limited to houses that are open to the public and/or enabled random access to it]

Love this idea!
I was really fond of my little farm in Pandaria in WoW, this sounds very similar and would be a great addition. It might also be a way of giving players who don't own houses access to gardens
