Alphascape Just Feels Out of Place (Spoilers)

It feels wrong. Why go do the former omega raids in numerical order (Delta was bosses from V, Sigma was bosses from VI), and then there is Alpha with the Final Fantasy I final boss, Midgardsormr from FFIV (even though XIV has its own Midgardsormr..), Omega from FFV, and finally some random humanoid named Omega-M.

Honestly they could have done something with VII. Not even asking for Sephiroth and Jenova here.. Just something like Emerald, Ruby, Diamond, and then Omega weapon.

Getting sick of SE withholding VII content just because they reserve it for when they are looking to hype something.

Omg yes they messed up a lot with Alphascape. First, the name we went Omega: Deltascape, Omega: Sigmascape, and what would have followed logically as they were moving up the Greek alphabet Omega: Omegascape would have worked nicely. They ended up chickening out and went Alphascape because Omegascape was awkward. They could have chosen If they wanted this they could have went in reverse and go Deltascape - (Betascape/Gammascape) - Alphascape.

This combined with the boss thing screams at me they made the first two and then abandoned everything and just either scrapped the real one or they never had any plan to begin with.

Don't worry, you ll get Sephiroth eventually.

I don't even care about Sephiroth, per my OP. It was a huge missed opportunity to include the other "weapons" and continue the numerical series. It is very haphazard how they laid out Alphascape when both Delta and Sigma were awesome fan service as intended.

Omega weapon and Omega are treated as separate entities in Final Fantasy.

What if... the numerical order was coincidence? What if they didn't want to do VII with FF7R in production? Also Omega M is probably the Faust to Adam and Eve that are likely Savage exclusive.

dunno, the past savage had forms of bosses that were already there, adding whole new characters would have to add some form of story to it, which would go against the goal of the story mode.

Oh I am aware, I am not sure why the first two turns are lumps of characters from particular games, and then the third turn is a hodgepodge of random bosses with a touch of original flair at the end.
