To my fellow adventurers on PS4. Are you stuck not able to play due to the download of Version 7.18? It only took about 30 minutes for it to download and now I'm stuck waiting for it to finishing copying. Its been almost 3 hours since I started and its only at 35% of copying.
You won't be able to play for another 12 hours anyways, servers aren't up until 3am pst
Took 15 minutes for mine to finish.
Crap.. I didn't read the maintenance log completely. I thought I'd have til 11 pm to play before servers went down.
Was all done in about 10-20 minutes, download was quick, majority of the time was copying log or something f
I'm not sure if mine was stuck on copying data or not. I turned on my PS4, saw FFXIV had an update, was surprised cause I didn't think the update would happen till tonight, and went to play Slime Rancher. It updated and installed shortly there after. Hope everything works out for you tho.
I'm at Copying... (52%) at the moment. I'm on At&t U-verse's Internet 18 plan. Which is up to 18mbps. The 2 gig download only took roughly 30 minutes like I said before. I just don't understand this Copying portion.

Mine worked fine and took about 12 minutes to download.
I didn't even pay attention to how long mine took. I turned on my PS4, and made sure it was downloading, when someone on my FC's Discord pointed out that it was available. Then I just let it run while working on cleaning my apartment like I planned to do today. So... it could have taken around an hour I think, maybe (or maybe less)? It was while I vacuumed, cleaned a few vacuum parts, and then scrubbed down the kitchen top to bottom, and I didn't exactly time myself.
