You buy them from a housing ward vendor. I'm a sad panda. Was hoping to make a mint on them.
Guess I'll be sticking with bunk beds and shower floors. Lol.

Yea, this was indeed disappointing... Even if not crafted, they should at least put them in the boutique of the Fashion Report...
Still a few things we dont know about them though, we could end up with crafted versions with special poses or class mixing.
Also still plenty of money to make from crafting the new map stuff, and the new gear.
We're getting new furniture, new combat gear, and new glamour gear. I'm fairly certain we'll survive mannequins coming from a vendor.
...Right? I'm quite certain there are a sufficient number of new craft items that will make up for this. Besides, I believe it was a great call from the Devs to make it readily available from vendors. In FFXI, I believe we had to run around on a quest to gather the catalogue or something. And I think the pieces themselves were initially a BCNM drop.
However, once you did manage to get the whole set it looked great in the Mog House. Here's what mine looked like back then (in Serpent General gear)

If it wasn't interacted with by other players I'd be up for it having been a crafted recipe.
But because it has the ability to sell gear and such I'm glad they made it a vendor item because its much easier for people to get a hold of so that people actually have a chance to buy one (or two, or ten) in the first week. \o/
Now if they could just do the same for consumables and stacks of mats I can start stocking my general store for real!
