Temporary Suspension of the Services: Follow-up

Below is an update regarding the temporary suspension of the FINAL FANTASY XIV, FINAL FANTASY XI, and PlayOnline services.

Originally, we announced that the services will be temporarily suspended for about a week starting on Mar. 13, 2011 3:00 (PDT). However, due to ongoing issues with the lack of energy, we have decided to extend the suspension until Mar. 22, 2011 (JST). We will re-evaluate the situation on Mar. 22, 2011 (JST) and provide everyone with another update regarding this matter.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your continued understanding of this unusual situation.

- Friend List Plus
- FINAL FANTASY XI Linkshell Community Beta Version
- PlayOnline Friend List Application
- Community Site Link Registration: Owner Menu

* Additionally, the following types of support will also be temporarily unavailable:
- PlayOnline Password Recovery
- PlayOnline Account Cancellation
- All activities requiring the confirmation of personal information

I can guarantee that anyone who uses the lodestone forums does not need this thread to know that there is a new news item on the front page of the lodestone.

this was expected .... With the power issues tht are happening in Japan I believe server wont be up for more then 2weeks at least ...

I expected a delay considering the situation in Japan right now but surprised that its only pushed back 2 days and not another week or 2

kinda saw it coming japan in bad shape it very understandable

Im sorry i dont go to the Lodestone all the time, mostly just forums. How is this old news when it was posted today? Stop acting tough, if you dont have anything positive to say, don't say anything at all....
