A Big Suggestion & Comparison Thread

First thing first - English is not my native language, so please bare with me.
I'll use it here only to increase my chance to be heard and understand, because if it type this all in German, the Devs would never see, nor read it most likely and would be only :confused: ;)

To tell first a little something about me and my intention of this upcoming big thread, to basically compare Final Fantasy 14 with the game, I played before for my longest time of my life and that is the Guild Wars franchise (inclusive GW2), since 2005.
The comparison will be more about GW2, because its the game, which is much closer to FF14, than its prequel is.
I have sadly now not the time, to type everything, cause its 3 o clock in the night for me now and Ive to sleep. Just wanted to say Hello for now first and prepare this thread, so that I have a spot from where I will continue further - later, when I have more time for that.

I will compare both games literally in the following points and aspects, that are very important to me, that I give to them my personal feedback as a new FF14 player, because a friend of mine keeps on telling me, that the community and the Devs here of FF14 are very open to Player Feedback, especially suggestions for improvements.
So I thought, I give it a try, IÄm a very creative mind with lots of ideas I came up with from playing FF14 so far already, with what I have in mind for comparison with GW2, to show you, what could be potentially improved in FF14 in my view.

So lets begin. I will first list up all the topics, I want to talk about here and compare the games with, which are important to me. Then I will go topic after topic in own threads, which I will basically then relink all to this Main Thread, when I'm done with a topic, so that this thread can work basically like a glossary with links that lead to the several topics, so that each topic can have its very own focus.

Thats it for now, first, but I'll soon continue here with the first topic comparison - Character Creation & Playable Races.
I'd like it to see, if this thread here could pleasestay clear of any discussions, so that it can work later as overviewable glossary. i don't want to have to ask later a moderotor or so to clear this thread first of unwanted comments, before it should be closed. Thank you very much :D
