Hello fellow housing enthusiasts!
I was wondering if anyone has a picture of the gold leaf flooring from the Mogstation or a house on Hyperion currently displaying it.
I've been curious to see what it looks like outside SE's glamour shot. Is it shiny and sufficiently golden? The walls look more dirty than gold.

It's hard to get a picture of them that doesn't look "dirty", but I assure you they're more gold when you factor in the way the light reflects off both the floor and the wall. They don't come off like a sheet of gold metal, but more as a coat of metallic gold paint. I'll get some pics in a few minutes and post them for you.
Ok, I got some shots that are hopefully a better representation of how they look in game.
Think of the finish of the floor like a metallic gold paint with a coat of semi-gloss lacquer over it. The walls are like a metallic gold paint with no coating. The combined effect of the two together is really striking, in my opinion, and certainly gives off a gilded look.
These were taken with no ReShade filters, and with estate lighting set to 5.
