What do you think was the worst thing this game experienced from 2.0 until now?

I would like to know what you all think about what was the worst thing that this game has experienced since 2.0. & do not say you "as me" as if I was the worst thing this game experienced... XD

Personally, I think the forced cutscenes on Praetorium & Castrum Meridianum MSQ dutys is the worst thing this game have "seen" since I have started playing.

Adding NPC gear to Mog Station. Personally, I would have liked it better if these special glamour were given out in-game as a sort of thank you for continuing to subscribe to FXIV. It would have also been nice, too, if the NPC gear from Mog Station were given special little side quests to personally better get to know the NPC you were getting a copy of their clothes from in addition to their gear being added in-game instead, too. To me, it would have provided us a better way to get known our favorite NPC on FFXIV.

And I think it was one of the best things they did in a while. It gives a ton of EXP for old players and new players don't have to miss out on a story. I did MSQ right before HW and had to choose to either watch the CS or actually experience the dungeon, it was horrible because I constantly felt left out.

As for the worst thing I'd say Diadem after a fix that made it absolutely irrelevant, Potd for making the overworld leveling and socializing obsolete and of course content templates that they follow 100% of the time without a hint of creativity.

Umbrite + Crystal Sand HW Relic Step. It was not any bad development, but is was still a bad time for me.

Also, 4.0 DRK. It got a nerf so bad that it made me quit for almost a year. All the fun from 3.5 DRK just got removed.
DRk now is slowly getting "fun", but I'm definitely waiting for that promised rework.

Back in 2013, before they fixed the latency issues in Titan HM and you had to do it for the relic, that was when FFXIV was at it's worst .
Tumults, in the center, you move out, but the game didn't think so, you insta-die. Landslides? Move out, still get hit, another instadeath.
I found it particularly bad, as the latency issues combined with my NZ latency was the worst.
The toxicity was at an all time high, directed at anyone that got knocked off. I often got knocked off with landslide even if I moved before the telegram appeared on the ground, it was the first and only time I was told "it's not latency, you're just bad" and "uninstall the game and kill yourself" lol. The only time I ragequit the game also (my poor chocobo doesn't have the starlight barding because of it).

When they fixed the issues, I cleared it like a breeze, the game got good again :P But those were some dark days.

Eureka is nothing compared to ultra-latency titan relic trial.

- It's basically Diadem 3, minus the only part that worked eventually, the gathering.
- The story element should have been compelling, it started well but the further you go, the worse it gets
- It's killed dungeons and fates in the open world
- Grinding is the only path (previous relics you could mix up what you did)
- Anemos wasn't great but players managed to make something of it. Pagos is horrible.

I hope we get a Relic like ARR/HW for the new AddOn

making fantasias single character instead of account wide. Thankfully I bought a bunch before that happened so I haven't need to buy any since then. Also 2.0 war was rough and really tempered my skills with war as we really had to work and bust our asses to even get close to PLD godliness. That was fixed in 2.1 but those 3 months... man. But in reality, this game got worse the moment the mogstation was introduced.
