In Stormblood,there is so much recycling of old gear,it is ridiculous,could we,at least get new gear everytime ?
Even the crafted item are just some old gear re used.
Is it too much to ask to get regular content ? and not re used ?
Am i the only one feeling like this ?

I feel like whenever they make new gear for any dungeon/raid, they should just make the outfits dyeable right off the bat so they won't have to recycle gear.
Also, with the amount of concept designs handed to them from the players (ala design contests), they shouldn't have an issue coming up with new gear when a new patch comes along.
Maybe the reason for the recycling is because they don't have the time to create a whole new set?? Idk, but I do wonder why they do this. :/

I feel like the recycling ties in with the lockdown on glamouring gear from other classes. When they do this, they’ll shuffle which classes get which designs - so at least you get one more chance of the set you want lining up with the class you want it for.

But that's the exact reason why they don't have all new dungeon gear dyeable.

It lets them be lazy and slap recolors on stuff down the line to avoid making anything new - thus more development can go into making content as unfun as possible via Eureka. /s or is it sarcasm at this point?

Solid grasp on how game development works. Obviously the design and art teams also are in charge of game systems.

What was once tomes/raid gear becomes dungeon gear, only at a higher level and undyeable.

Remember what made 1.0 suck? copy-pasting content.

In an ideal world, every dgn would have brand new gear and re-used palettes and swaps wouldn't exist.

But they don't and it's not a trend they recently started either.

Can we focus our gripe on actual things that should've been a thing since the start of 4.0? And no, I'm not gonna list them here cuz they're too obvious.
