Boulevardier set

The new Boulevardier set got discussed briefly in some other topics, but didn't get a dedicated thread.

With Pagos (and thus the materials) being available for a few weeks, prices on the set are coming down to affordable levels now, and I've noticed a few people wearing it.

Overall the set is... not standard fashion, but perhaps some people will like it as-is, and I think it has good potential combined with other pieces of gear.

The shorts will tuck into long boots, so they can be used for quite a different effect.

What do you all think of it? I'd love to see some pictures if you're using it in interesting ways.

The top is wearable with long gloves like the caster pvp tattoo set. Those trousers though :(
Still awaiting the day for good male glamour to arrive so I can switch back. I definitely wont for this set.

I don't like anything but the shirt, but I love the shirt.

I agree, they're a very odd choice. I would have thought gathered knee-length pants might go with this style - something like a shorter version of the Ala Mhigan crafter pants. Maybe with a frill on the hem if they want to keep that element of it.

And yes, I'd like to see what other "sleeve" handgear combines with the shirt. (It would have been nice if they'd made something as part of the set, so you can convert the shirt to being long-sleeved if you want. Or above-elbow cuffs like on the Eikon armguards' right side.) I've looked through the marketboard but I'm sure there are other things out there.

I think the Scylla gloves from Syrcus Tower might work with it as well? And the Drachen armour for a very stylish dragoon.

It has bad dye option except if u wanna dye it darker.
I wanted it pure white but the vest turns into grey instead of white.
It annoys me that if a robe is oiginally lighter and has dark details into it, the dark parts turns into grey if u dye it pure white while jet black covers all and tunrs that detailed part bit darker.

The shirt is lovely. But I'm also interested in the shoes. If nothing else, they fit some cosplay options I've been wanting to try and create. Just need the right coat, though.

Does this outfit look very French to anyone else?

Honestly surprised they didn't just have the male/female sets use the same materials and add them to Pagos boxes. It would help drive the prices down and maybe encourage players to go into the zone for NM/warped chests. It really is an odd set though, but some guys like it..... the shirt at least anyways.
