Add Time Mage Already Or Astrologian Rewind JA|MA Or LB

Where's the innovation?

Where's the innovation or the risks that players claim SE is not willing to take? I say if a new job get released, Time Mage would be of a good utility & also very unexpected.

Sure some players ask for Blue Mage & some for Geomancer which could follow lore but.Time Mage would readjust XIV gameplay by quite a bit in my opinion as they could get the magic demi & some sort of ability to undo the last couple bad steps into a fight which could change the output in the end if players manage to react accordingly.

Rewind could be added in multiple ways, make it a tremendously long cooldown ability or a spell that consume all mp with a long cooldown or|OR even if thats too far upon fetching the idea, then turn that into a Limitbreak.

With the current game situation,rarely fights are going to be able to go throught salvation if either the enemy is not low enough on health for remaining players to finish the battle or if both healers are dead then everyone suffer from it by not having cures & raises unless situationally they got another mage able to handle it.

I think adding rewind as a limitbreak could give everyone a chance to get back on track & that would for sure open possibilitys throught the outcome of a battle & its mechanics.If adding Time Mage for this is not an option, please at least consider maybe giving a little Ooommmff spike to a limitbreak.

I do think it would be cool for astrologian to have this if not a Time Mage.I would gladly take a rewind LB over raisega as it would kinda feel like a Final Attack Pheonix Summon in the FF7 game.



P.s: For how far back in time it would launch everybody, I let that timer for you all to discuss, too short of a time? Too long of a time? What would be the good # for it?
Also while some players mentionned on making GCD faster Time Mage could maybe possibly turn out a battle to happen slower for a short period of time like some sort of max payne slowmotion mode.
REWIND <<<< healer RESCUE.

The Astrologians magic is about rewinding damage taken though, at least in the lore. They still have more expansions to come where AST will probably need more time mage inspired moves, but I don't think we will get another time focused job. Gravity is basically Demi in the context of this battle system. You couldn't have fractions of damage like in traditional games, and an AoE almost move is already there.

Demi could totally be added in its true form of dropping monster health by half, even if cutting hp by half was to only work outside of dungeons & trials & raids then do something different in there, it does not have to be an AoE either(I have never considered gravity as\like demi & I never will).

I think Time Mage could be a DPS role also,that way,without only having the hope of dealing enough dmgs with an LB, there could be the actual opportunity for a damage dealing job to reverse a bad outcome.

This could also teach players a thing or two.

Anemos & pagos regular monsters have too much health & defense? Demi, clear half the fight already.

Class ideas are great, but do you really feel, compared to the other classes, this is a fair skill?

That would break the game. Also Demi has always been referred to as a gravity attack, which we have in the Gravity spell.

Anyway I read once that AST itself is time mage already and it's abilities were based on that. It can extend buff duration for example.

It really depend on how they would implement it,so yes I do as long as its implemented properly & im sure players have plenty of ideas for that.

Extending a buff duration is not actually controlling time but potency of its duration(& that can be many factors), time is ticking thats normal in life, skipping time backward is a whole new and different story tho.


P.s: I am talking about the actual spell effect & it could even be swapped to a job ability instead of a cast but the point is gravity is not halving the target hp & no doing this would not break the game, actually it would be great for all players in a party.Weight does not have to affect demi, it could just drain the target away of half its lifetime.There is several text descriptions demi could have.

Every party would REQUIRE an AST at that point. Plus imagine fighting a savage or ultimate mode fight and cutting it's HP in half in 1 move. That is broken as hell. Even against normal monsters only, it's still too op.

Also extending buff duration IS controlling time. It's called slowing it down. Slow down the timer so it lasts longer.

I did say that it could do something else in dungeons & trials | raids (as far as demi go), I never said to cut notorious monsters (bosses healths by half) I am talking about regular targets.

P.s: + I never said that i would like Astrologian to get demi, I dont want Astrologian to get demi althought it would be cool, I want REWIND to get added to the game & yes it would change the game dynamic by a lot & it would be the intention (intentional).
