What do you all think of the new Relic weapon process?

I really did not like Eureka at first but I started to think that it was kinda fun with the right group of people. Like, I hate the level grind part immensely but the fun of grind with others and relying on communication to succeed is pretty refreshing. Don't get me wrong though, I still prefer the Anima quest style of relic weapons over Eureka.

It's not incredibly popular. I detest it myself.

Anemos was boring but doable. Pagos? Kill me.

Even though it was grindy as heck, I still preferred the anima weap to this. Number one reason? You could work on levelling alt jobs while you did it. It seems like they eased on the levelling process a bit in general, but still, killing two birds with one stone will always be preferable, imo.

As of right now its really bad. It also doesn't help that we are getting new gear in a few weeks. Pagos should of came out much sooner.

why are people so focused on the viability of the gear from this stage of the process? it's not the final one. you are working towards the mid-step. BUT BUT BUT you won't be able to get the arguably best weapon in the expansion IF YOU DON'T COMPLETE THIS STEP. the fact that 4.4 is coming should have no bearing on your mind. If you are not raiding or clearing ultimate then you should not be worrying about gear anyways. if you are a scrub in need of a good weapon - go do Heaven on High ad nauseum boom free 365 weapon. That will be enough to carry you into the next patch.

Why are you comparing a 365 vs a 370. Use the tomestone weapon vs Relic.

Tomestone takes 11 expert runs, 1 trial run, 1 24man, 7 runs of omega vs a weapon that is meant for the general playerbase but takes much longer.

People wouldn't be complaining about viability you know if it came out earlier, had decent drops inside of pagos, or if pagos had left a better impression on people. The only reason to enter pagos is for the relic.

Zerging is not fun, period.

maybe they're so much of a scrub they can't do sigmascape normal or wait the 7 weeks to get a weapon. *shrug*
