90k2 error in Pagos

Today I spent over 2 hours camping for Louhi with my party, during the farming my game froze completely then I got a 90002 error. When I tried to log back in the game was forced to shut down completely, I then tried to load the launcher to get back in as fast as I can so that I was not kicked from Pagos. The launcher was stick on a black screen for about 5 mins so I restarted my computer. After loading the launcher it worked and I was able to get back into the game. When I got into the game I found out Louhi had popped, so I get back together with my party and prepare to fight him. Right as the tank pulled Louhi my game froze again, less then 5 mins after logging into the game. I got yet another 90002 error. and the same things started to happen again, couldnt log in, had to restart and finally got in after 5-6 mins. By the time I got in Louhi was down to 25% HP so I yet again joined my team to defeat him. This time less then 2 mins passed until I yet again got another 90002 error. By the time I reset and got back into the game he was defeated and I did not get any rewards. I left the zone and went back to town where I didnt have any more errors. This would have been my third kill and my first weapon from pagos but the servers had other plans for me. Please I just want my last Ice for my weapon, Ive been level 35 for 4 days now and cannot seem to get my last kill. SE help me out this is unfair to good players.

- Platform (PC, PS4, Mac)

- Type of connection (wired or wireless)

- Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)

- Everything you have tried to resolve the issue

PC, Wired connection, no other programs running even in the background was only on FFXIV. ive only tried restarting my game cuase i dont know what else to do.

I sat around Kugane when I left the zone for about a hour and had no errors, I have since been playing other games and not had any connection problems, honestly those errors kinda made me know want to play right now.

The issue you are describing is most associated with interference with the game data. Most of the time, it results from certain security/privacy changes on Internet Explorer. Other times it occurs when an application that is running in the background is causing interference, such as Anti-virus software, firewalls, media players, web browsers, etc.

Please make sure all background applications (including anti-virus programs such as Norton, Kaspersky, Windows Defender, etc.) have been disabled and/or closed to minimize game interference.

Ensure that the latest version of Internet Explorer is installed on your PC (even if you don't use Internet Explorer), please do not use Edge as that is a different internet platform. Once Internet Explorer is up-to-date, please open the IE browser, open the "Tools", go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
Under the "Privacy" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or to "Allow All Cookies"
Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED.
[SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
Please RESTART your PC now.


Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, then there is a communication error.
Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened/forwarded/triggered:

55006 through 55007,
55021 through 55040
