Announcing the "Sea Breeze Celebration" Screenshot Contest (NA)

The summer sun has been sweltering hot, but there’s no time like the Moonfire Faire to cool off, relax and enjoy the ocean air! We’re challenging adventurers across the realm to take a break, and show us how you capture the spirit of the summertime in one stunning screenshot. Put your /gpose skills to the test and make a splash, Warriors of Light!

Theme:
The Moonfire Faire is here once again this summer and we’d like to see how adventurers like to have fun in the sun!

Entry Period:
August 17, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) and August 31, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

How to Enter:
Please review and follow this guide to uploading images to the Lodestone and posting the image on the forum.

Be sure to include the following information in your submission:

• Your screenshot depicting your character enjoying your favorite summer activity.
  • We encourage the use of the Moonfire Faire rewards from this year and previous years to help add some summer flavor to your screenshots.
• An optional caption to supplement your screenshot.
• Your selection from the available in-game prizes.
• Please note: Prizes will be delivered to the character on the entrant’s forum handle.

You must abide by the following rules and guidelines when creating and submitting your entry:

• One (1) entry per person. If multiple entries containing the same character are posted, only the first entry will be accepted.
• Entries cannot be edited after submission.
• Entries must be your own screenshot. Any plagiarized content will be disqualified!
• You must read, agree to, and comply with the Official Rules below.

Winner Selection:
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Community Team will select fifty (50) winners based on creativity, originality, and overall execution according to the criteria listed above.

Prizes:
The 50 winners will each receive one in-game item of his/her choice from the items below:

• Scarf of Wondrous Wit
• Ahriman Choker
• Mandragora Choker
• Bluebird Earring
• Noble Barding

Eligibility:
You must be a legal resident of the fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or Canada (excluding Quebec), have a valid North American Square Enix Account, and be over the age of 13 to enter.

THE SEA BREEZE CELEBRATION 2018 SCREENSHOT CONTEST (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Canada (excluding Quebec).

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older, and who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence,] at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between August 17, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time and August 31, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Time (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step One:

• Take a screenshot of your character enjoying your favorite summer activity.
  • Sponsor encourages the use of the Moonfire Faire swimsuit, splash emote, and rewards from this year and previous years to help add some summer flavor to your screenshots.
  • Cropping the image is allowed.
  • We highly recommend using the group pose feature in order to enhance your screenshots!

Step Two:

• Submit the screenshot by posting in the OFFICIAL ENTRY THREAD on the FINAL FANTASY XIV Official Forums and include the following information on your forum post:
• The Screenshot
• A supplementary caption
• Your selection from the available prizes:
  • Scarf of Wondrous Wit
  • Ahriman Choker
  • Mandragora Choker
  • Bluebird Earring
  • Noble Barding

• Please note: Prizes will be delivered to the character on the entrant’s forum handle in or around September 12, 2018.

• You must not include any additional personal information in your entry.
• Entries may not be edited after submission.

Additional Entry Rules:

• One (1) entry per person. If multiple entries submitted by the same entrant are posted, only the first entry submitted will be considered.

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select fifty (50) winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

• Technical quality of the screenshot
• Originality of the screenshot
• Creativity of the screenshot
• Artistic elements of screenshot

G. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive each of the following prize(s):

• One (1) Ahriman Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Mandragora Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Bluebird Earring (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Scarf of Wondrous Wit (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• One (1) Noble Barding (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about September 12, 2018 by email and/ or forum post.
