Vintage Crafting
I apologize if this has been mentioned, but I tried a couple searches and it didn't look like it had been.
For Vintage items, which are included in the current item plan, all recipes pretty much look like this:
X = Ripped, Moldering, Dented, Frayed, etc
X item + some materials = Vintage item
Very simple and straightforward... It's a cool little pattern, especially since the some Vintage items have decent stats and materia can be melded. Examples:
Notched Buckler + some materials = Vintage Buckler
Frayed Chef's Belt + some materials = Vintage Chef's Belt
Moth-eaten Coatee + some materials = Vintage Coatee
So far, the only one I have come across that isn't handled this same way:
Moldering Jester's Cap + some materials =/= Vintage Jester's Cap
As far as I can tell its still obtainable, just from different leve rewards. It has the same attribute patterns as the rest (10-20 levels above broken item, broken item is non-meldable and non-convertible, Vintage item can be melded/converted, both are unique, just like every other pair). The only difference is the crafting.
I'm looking for a dev response... Is there a typo in the data files somewhere that didn't generate the recipe? Or is this the way it is supposed to be? I feel like maybe this could be a bug report, it seems most logical that its supposed to be a recipe and isn't. But then again, if that were the case, it wouldn't be obtainable, but it is. If it is working correctly, and it is the exception to the rule, no problem. I just thought I'd bring this to attention in case it hasn't been.
