Its just logical. Roleplayers need an unofficial server just like the French players need folks that speak French.

They may not specify a role play server; however, we can, with this thread, if you wish. Want to RP? Choose a world, and let all the RP-ers unite!
It would be nice if SE marked a server as an optional RP server like they marked an optional server for German / French players, though the RP community can pick a server and get the word out like we did for Besaid when the game first launched.
How can Square-Enix officially make something unofficial?
Why ask SE to do it when we already are doing it?

People using the word 'segregation' are too often using it synonymously with 'organization'. The latter is not a bad thing. Many fail to see the big picture here imo.
Let the RPers have their server. It provides immersion for them in a way they cannot get on another server. The German/French are organized that way for a different (and logical) reasons. No reason to apply negativity to attempts to do the same for the NA community as well.
I agree. Players should just go to that website, vote for 9, then make a thread announcing it here.
EDIT: Can't just do that, but I do strongly recommend that current users of that site vote for 9. No real reason but FFIX did open up with a theater troupe and it seems to have the most votes thus far.
I sincerely hope that the stars would align and the server the RPers choose is called Hole or something bland and of that nature.
