Botany materials with high turnover?

Hi! I'm trying to make some money fast because I bought a house and I'm almost broke. I have a lot of alyssum for sale which is priced high but doesnt sell well even if I drop the price down to half the other offers.

I need something thats in high demand, even if the price isnt that high. Can anyone tell me anything that is used a lot and will sell fast even if I sell it cheap please?

If your Botanist is at 70, farm Twincoon! It's used to make Twinsilk which is used in quite a few end-game recipes. Also, if you're geared enough, gathering items from Legendary Nodes (if you have your Folklore tomes) because a lot of people are too lazy to farm it themselves. lol

Its mostly going to depend on your server and its economy. Alyssum isn't used for making that many different items, so that might be why its not selling all that well. Look for stuff that's used in a lot of different crafting recipes, especially certain types of logs. Stuff available from folklore nodes might work too, but its up to the economy either way. The best thing you can do is take some time to research different things on the MB. Look for items with decent prices and a lot of recent sale history and try those.

Flax sells well on Louisoix, might be worth looking into on your world.

Are... you serious?

In the top-right of the item window that displays current prices there's a little button that looks like... a receipt, a list, or slip of paper with some writing on it. Click that. This will bring up a "History" window detailing the last 20 sales. When it happened, who bought it, how many, and for how much.

Flax, yo. Won't make you six plus figures at least in the short term, but it is used in some way in so many crafts.

Couple good suggestions here. Spending 10-15 mins looking at your servers sales history compared to the items you can gather will probly give you some good ideas of markets to try out. One thing i didnt see mentioned was maps. Treasure maps are another good way to make money. You can dig one up every 18 hours to sell, or you can clear the maps yourself for your shot at profit. If you havent already, the quest to unlock treasure hunting is near Wineport.

Take a look at these in your local MB and see what is selling best. This is just a starting point:
