Crafting improvement suggestion: animation length & recipe difficulty

The crafting animations really need to be faster/shorter when crafting something that is "easy" (as in, well below your crafting level).

Crafting is awfully tedious and slow as it is, and when you want to turn 30 maple logs into maple lumber and you're already at Carpentry level 15, for example, its so frustrating that such a low-level recipe still takes so long.

I know, the "mass production" option to make 3 at a time helps, but still, it takes too long. A great way to improve this would be to make the crafting animations between each input faster/shorter the higher above the recipe's level you get. Or, just let us press a button to skip the animation and move right on to the next input.

During combat, it's a lot faster to finish a battle against an enemy lower level than you, so why can't crafting be the same way?
