Gamepad: Save cursor position client side

Hello i would like to suggest, that for gamepad users (be it console or PC etc) that the default cursor position for actions such as "Asylum" should be saved client side.

It is rather tedious, that every time i sign into the game, i have to change the position these actions are to be executed.

You mean like when you place the aoe on the ground? I think there is an option to move it freely or not at all, but I generally just pan the camera to place it somewhere I need to.

Yup. The default spot is always pretty far off. I want it much closer. This is beneficial for things not only like Asylum, but also Salted Earth (since you generally would want to be standing in your own asylum and would want the boss, that is generally right in front of you, to be standing in Salted Earth.)

Only time you might want it further is Shadowflare for SMN/SCH Which i find it easier to push it further when its close, than get it under me/a boss when its quite far off.

I mean, i always just adjust it, but it would be nice if it was saved client side.

You Can macro them to a specific target. Like /ac shadowflare <t>

Will drop them centred around whatever you have targeted which for me is usually the boss

Macros are somewhat useful but there can be times you want to pre-emtively place an aoe, like when you know the target is about to move to another location or you want a little better control over what it covers.

I don't know about saving it from session to session.

But what I do is Character Config -> Ground Targeting Settings->Unlocked
The default setting for that, at least for me, is just a little above me. So it's perfect.
If I need to adjust the default setting (for the session) I use R1+L. I don't use that for moving it during battle though, because it's inconvenient as it stays there for the next time it's used. Instead I use camera manipulation (as if it weren't unlocked) to do so. So it's a mix of both versions and IMO much more fluid.

So to summarize:
* Use unlocked to set a default place for your session
* Use camera manipulation for easier adjustment.
* Never turn the game off ;)

It would be nice if it was saved from session to session
