How to make Antiquated Gear Better?

Im not sure if you can or not but if there is a way i would like to know how i can make the Antiquated Gear you get from Foundation better.

Is there somebody i have to talk to that improves the gear to increase it's item level?

Cause i want to be able to wear the armor i got from collecting centurio seals better if i can.

So far the only way to use old gear in new areas is to glamour it to your new stuff.

You can buy the upgrade items (Illuminati Gobdip, Gobtwine and Gobcoat) required from The Forgotten Knight for Centurio Seals and then speak to the gear upgrade woman in Idyllshire to increase its item level slightly, but after that you can't upgrade it any further.

As far as gear acquisition goes, you're better off saving seals for level 70 to get a 310 set and using your tomestones of poetics to get shire gear, but upgrading the antiquated job gear does make it dye-able if you're wanting it for glamour.

Don’t buy the antiquated gear!!!

Not because it’s bad, but because you get an entire set FOR FREE by completing your Lv60 job quest!

You’ll still need to buy the weapon if you want it, though.

Also even though the upgrading isn’t worth it for the item level, it does make them dyeable. You can preview the dyeable gear at the upgrade stall to see if it’s worthwhile.

There are a couple of other options for getting the upgrade tokens, if you’re at Heavensward-endgame - I think by trading coins from the Lv60 raids, and maybe something else? Speak to the lady on the right at Rowena’s shop and look in the Uncanny Knickknacks section.
