Hermes Shoes and FFXI Discount

Hi!

I just started an account for this game and have an exsisting account for FFXI, I remember seeing that players of both were able to obtain a discount and the in game item Hermes Shoes is there something special I have to do to unlock either?

You would have to link your active ffxi account to your Square Enix account before logging into XIV, then there was a code to put in to get the onion helm/garlean goggles, and if you bought XIII a code for asuran armguards. All of these codes had to be put into the Square Enix account before creating a character, so if you didn't input these codes, you could delete that guy, go do it and make a new guy. The items will be found in your inventory when you start the game if done correctly.

you log in, select service, and select FFXIV, then select options list, there should be something to add options at the top
