Graphics Problem: Mac
So I have been having slight graphics problems since I believe the last update before May 12. It does not affect game performance however. It simply adds random pinkish glitch looking lines on the screen at times.
It always has the problem in the main menu screen but in game it flashes on and off every couple of minutes. It is always on the bottom or middle bottom in the menu. In the game it is more often across the middle of the screen.
I have included pictures of the issue I have in this tweet.

I am not sure if this is a game problem, or a computer problem. Is this a common occurrence on Macs? I occasionally have it happen in World of Warcraft but not that often. These are the only two times it has happened. However these happened not after I updated the OS version, but the games.
I will go to Apple support if it is a computer problem instead.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
I wouldn't say this issue is common with Macs, however, the official system requirements do mention some graphical issues on Intel Iris graphics (scroll down to the bottom and click on 'Mac'): https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/stormblood/product/
However, if it does happen with other games, it may be something specific to your Mac.
What resolution are you running the game at? Have you tried lowering it? Are you running in Fullscreen mode or Borderless windowed?
Make sure you aren't running any other programs in the background.
Double-check that nothing is overheating. This can happen if one of the vents is even partially obstructed.
We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
