How Long is the Monster Hunter Collab?

Hey all,

When I first heard about the Monster Hunter Collaboration for summer, I knew I couldn't miss it. Big MHW fan here. Does anybody know if this is a temporary event, or if it is permanent? Has that information been released yet? I haven't really been following FFXIV that much lately, but I didn't see anything mentioned on the Lodestone about how long it would be here for.

They're going to be releasing more information during the next live letter. They're already said in other interviews that it's not going to be very short term in duration like a seasonal event because they know a lot of players will be looking forward to it that haven't had the chance to level to 70 yet but wouldn't say just how long it would be available.

Unsure. I don't think the MHW side of the event has been given a definite date yet either but ppl in MHW think Behemoth will be there during the upcoming summer festival on 7/13. Curious if they plan to run the collab on both games at the same time or if it will be staggered.

Probably have the same duration as yo-kai did. It might take its place. I'm still missing a couple weapons for the mount on that one so I hope they bring that one back as well.

Its either this or the event will be indefinite like Garo is. I remember back before Garo was released that the devs comments on it were pretty similar to their comments on this collaboration.

Also as someone mentioned, the fact you need to be level 70 and reached Stormblood means that there has to be enough time for players that aren't there (i.e. new ones, or returners), chance to catch up and take part in the event. I think 3 weeks would be too short for the casual gamer, so definitely seems we could be looking at a Yo-Kai type duration.

It is confirmed that it will be around for some time
