Unexpected Error, but only on my main character

Hi Guys,

Been playing the game after a long break and finally got me new toon to the Heavensward questline.

Just accepted and completed "Coming to Ishgard" and the game took me to the Ishgard Aetheryte and the game crashed with the error attached. I now can't get into this character any more without the error triggering. I can log into other toons on other servers so I know it's not a hardware issue etc, but really annoying.

Tried the following
DX11 - Low settings
DX 9 - Low settings
Windowed mode, full screen mode
AA off etc etc
Full driver suite update
Shut down everything I could to run the game

Still nothing

Any ideas? I've logged a ticket but as it's the weekend I have no idea what the delay will be like and I'd like to play all weekend

Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Being unable to log into only one character can sometimes be attributed to a corrupt file in the locally saved settings. Find the settings files in the 'My Documents' folder (My Documents > My Games > Final Fantasy XIV) and delete that folder. Try to log into that character after that.

If this does not work, try doing a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

If you are still having problems after that, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
