Estate Retrieval!
I personally think that the Estate Retrieval system should be tweeked a bit. Instead of losing your items and the gil after 35 days. I don't find that this system should be in place if you have to lose all your items on the property. What if i had purchased them with real money, and you log in only to find your real money was gone in 35 days. 15 dollars of your money gone in 35 days.
What if you don't have the money to subscribe to the game in that amount of time?
What's the point of housing in this game if you're just going to take away their hard earned money and crafted items in 35 days.
I don’t really think you should lose anything other than the house. Like yeah okay they penalize you for not having a sub by demolishing your plot but seriously, losing your gil that you spent on the place and all your items really isn’t cool.
So my feedback to SE is remove the 35 day penalty. Because it's not fair to people who can't sub in that amount of time.

i agree with you to a degree but if you dont have a sub theres a ton of reasons for this. one of which is you may no longer want to play. so while i kind of agree. its hard to keep dead data in a system. as far as taking houses away i mean housing is a privilage in this game. and theres more then enough people willing to pay to get a plot if you dont want to/cant. its just reality. its like getting evicted in real life if you went on a life journey and came back and found your house and stuff sold off because you werent making payments on it. so not trying to be rude just saying it is reality. sometimes you gotta be realistic.
another way to go about this is to have them place all items/money in your characters mail. or place all things inside a "package" kinda like how AF 3 gear was in 1 item slot package doing that with your stuff and placing that in your inventory. if no inventory space is available then mailed to you with a 90 day timer.

With the package idea, they'd probably have to make multiples of it, each containing no more than 140 items each (since that's the cap on inventory and housing items sadly don't stack). Housing limits have increased with Stormblood, so "packages" would have to reflect that in some way. Maybe make them flat 100 items each for the maximum.
As for the 35-day limit, I agree that it should be extended. I also think there should be a way to demolish your house early and still receive your gil back from it instead of having to wait 45 days for it to auto-demolish.

90 day timer is pretty reasonable, but i just couldn't log in to retrieve my items due to family problems in real life. I understand that if this were real life i'd be evicted, however, this isn't real life. I don't think they should promote such things as this in a game where say you buy something in the mogstation it gets ripped from you. Whats the solution to buying in game furniture and losing it just like that. Cancelling the payment on my card? that would just get me banned from the game. Though, i'm ok with losing the house because that's fine, however, the items i spent real money on should be e-mailed to me as well as event items. It's super discouraging.
