On Vote Reward Issuance

What in the world is this trying to solve?

So we cleared O5S and 1 person disconnects right at the very end and we lose a chest?
Surely there is a better way to do this?

There should at least be a 3rd option to opt for a exit and redo. (i.e. book for the week delayed)

Like, the chest disappeared when he DC'd or you had one less chest appear? Are you sure no one had previously cleared?

If someone drops out of a dungeon (including getting disconnected and having to log back in) you lose your limit break bar because you're no longer considered to be a complete party. So it's possible that the same sort of system is looking at "how many people here are eligible for a chest?" - and if one person dropped out before the system did that check, then it sees seven eligible people and gives you one chest.

A dialog appeared telling us that only 7/8 people are in instance so only 1 chest will appear.
[Yes] - Accept that you get only 1 chest
[No] - Closes dialog but nothing happens, timer continues ticking.

Since the tome is given on Boss death, our 2 chest weekly party became a 1 chest just because someone dced and is not able to come back.

The timer lasts for 300 seconds (5 minutes), so the DC has time to come back if it was something simple like a random 90k or lobby server error that is resolved in less than a minute. If they aren’t back in 5 minutes, then you get auto-1 chest...or if you click the button on the prompt.

If the disconnect happens in the middle of combat, it would be prudent for you guys to just wipe the pull and wait for the disconnected player to come back rather than push through for a clear and have to hope they come back before 5 minutes are up upon completion. Don’t try to push through if you’re wanting 2 chests. Besides, you’ll lose the LB anyways, and in some pulls you may need that for Melee LB3 (to push as much DPS before Enrage) or for Healer LB3 (if there are lots of dying).

In our case, the fella got a blackout right near the end of the boss, so he couldn't come back.
