Change Disciple of the Hand without closing Crafting Log window?

Hey! While I'm crafting/synthesizing, I am constantly having to change my Disciple to make different components, but it seems if I've just crafted something, it won't let me change, stating that I can't do it while crafting. But the only way to stop crafting, that I've found, is to close the Crafting Log window. So then I change Disciple, then I have to re-open the Crafting Log window, re-find the recipes and what not.

Is there a way to change Disciple (or stop crafting) without closing the Crafting Log window? Like a chat command or macro or something?

I find it irritating, too. It would be far better if the "while crafting" rule only applied while we were actually mid-craft. Between crafts, it shouldn't lock us out just for having the window open. Please fix this, SE.

It's a coding issue (to my knowledge) so isn't going to be changed unless a whole new client is built. The current client is a bit of a fudged chimaera with parts of 1.x code, legacy code & new code all bolted together so that it works but is always close to the limit. A new client would be a game changer because so many things would become possible. We have to live in hope.

This is honestly the most frustrating part of post-ARR crafting. It sounds like an easy fix, but its probably not easy at all under the hood. There's so many edge-cases that have to be handled for every little thing in a game of this scale that changing one line of code could break something in a completely different area.
