The GM reporters
It would be cool if the reporters had their own story and cutscenes as NPCS. Then every so often(when the GM logs on) he gets up from behind the typewriter or, printing press and goes out into the world to do his rounds.
this will add more depth to these reporters, who are mostly just read on the website if at all, and the rare occurrence you see them standing there.
So far from what I have heard reporters have only been sighted in ulduh. today i saw one and got the raven consumable. then i remembered the raven is stationed in grid. and it made me wonder why he was in ulduh when all the recent news has been happening in their backyard with the moogles and garleans causing a fuss.

If they did what they eventually did in FFXI, we'll likely see them as NPCs more often than nothing in due time. For example in some of the events in XI you never really "seen" the NPCs of the story/lore, but down the line they actually made them NPCs and WoTG they eventually let us interact with everyone we only ever heard of through NPC chatter.

What other kinds of things could GMs do? I forgot the name of him, but he became an NPC in the cutscenes. He would give you boosts at the crystals, and talk gloom and doom. and that GM was easy to catch. So what else could we imagine them doing in keeping with the LIVE word on the teams mission statement

They're already NPCs, they pop in the city their newspaper is based. (Hyur in Limsa, Lalafell in Ul'dah, Miqo'te in Gridania)
Only seen it happen once so far but they were giving out magicked prisms (gave you 20 in exchange for 3 mole meat)
I assume they mean you missed that.
And that was Urianger, the Arcanist GM.
There was also 3 GM that appeared near Horizon at one point. Legatus Darnus and 2 imperial soldiers accompanying him.
Also, these reporters a A LOT more common than Urianger.
I saw Urianger once and that was it. I've seen these reporters at least 50 times now.
At one point they were appearing everyday and sometimes I even saw them multiple times in a single day.
