Unfaithful FC mates ANNOY me...

Seriously, why the heck would they join in the first place when all they'll do is leave? I value my time, and time spent building a bond with them only to have them leave is time greatly wasted.

It... pisses... me... off.

Does anyone else here have this problem? Share your thoughts.

Sometimes, people have friends that are elsewhere.
Playing with an IRL friend is always preferred so I would never stop anyone from wanting to leave simply because they have a buddy to go play with.

Of course their friends are more than welcome in our FC and most members know this! :3

They're human beings, too.

If something didn't click with them, it's probably for the best they went somewhere they felt happier. The world doesn't end with you, after all.

You just need to resign yourself to the unfortunate fact that a considerable number of players in this game are very flaky.

I guess the real question is... Why the heck are you a king if you're a woman? You do realize that women are incapable of leadership, right?

Ooh, serious answer to a not so serious question (editing)

1. Every time they long on, your membership is 8/105.
2. Of that 8, 5 spend most of their time on discord.
3. They just joined your FC to get people to quit inviting them to FCs, but you are too chatty.
4. You've gone through three changes of leadership in 9 months, and the current leader might make it four times.
5. You insulted them in some way that you don't realize, and that was the last straw.
6. Their buddy just made a new fc

oh, the list is endless.

Maybe you weren't as good of a person to be around as you thought you were?
Maybe they have unfulfilled wishes that another FC promised them? (raid clears, etc)
Maybe they made a nice friend in another FC and decided to go there?
Maybe they're a flaky jerk?

Who knows. Different people have different reasons.

However, if you're having trouble keeping people, multiple people, then you may wish to set your pride aside and look at yourself and your FC, because those are the common denominators in all of these cases.

Judging from how you worded your OP, well.... it makes me wonder if there might actually be something else going on that you're oblivious to.

I only get annoyed when they immediately leave after a single disagreement or argument with someone rather than try and work things out. Now granted it's not always the case, but sometimes sitting down and talking for a few minutes can fix a lot of things.

Honestly, I can\\'t come up with a reason why they\\'d leave that is in anyway MY fault. A lot of them showed great enthusiasm with joining and I heavily socialized with them for an hour! We got as far as getting to know personal details about each other. And then mysteriously, the next day, POOF! They leave

It baffles me...

And if you\\'re gonna tell me "dude, they left because they got creeped out with you getting to know personal details about them", then let me just say... No. I did not ask for their phone number and address. I\\'m invasive but not THAT invasive. lol

Ideally, yeah, one should sit down and talk things out. However, in the heat of the moment, after some angry keyboard mashing, the "Leave FC" button becomes the final "F YOU!" weapon in someone's arsenal. Especially if they were arguing with the FC Leader at the time.

Now, maybe at some point later, they might cool off.

I didn't mean to suggest you're a bad person or anything, I'm just saying that the fact multiple people have done this to you/your FC suggests that there could be some kind of common factor: you, the FC, etc. Who knows.
