[The Source Cannon is a Hand-cannon of sort, that attaches to this special sack that's attached to the belt of the Mystic. This sack has mana inside; the main source of energy that empowers this cannon.]

A Mystical Quest, one that's prize is a fancy hand-cannon. Not just any hand-cannon, it's of the Gerlamald's Source Cannons that can whip up quite a beating, but also heal too.

The Ammunition is Mana, an powdery essence that's been extracted from a mine in the centermost of the Kingdom; this "Mana" is a physical sort of Aetherial like glowy powder that can harness Aetherial-Like energies; but not as powerful as those outside the Gerlamald Kingdom.

Chemists, these Special Scientists of Gerlamald, a life-source engineer, takes the Extracted Mana from this mine, makes up all sorts of healing elixirs that can be sourced into its fellow comrades during battle, or heal sicknesses and diseases, from clinics throughout the region.

The Empire, outsourced a large research facility that took this special mana to help its Judges fend off armies and conquered without the direct use of the aetherial current.

These Mystic Chemist, were Chemists who fled the Gerlamald empire and sought their own understanding of it, and made this new Source Cannon without the constraints of the ever persistent emperor.

[Players can consider this as a Sect. there's no negatives between them; some enhance their Source Cannon Spells, while the other Enhance Aetherial.

• *Belief Stance: Players that would rather have their full potential on healing with MP.
  
• *Unbelief Stance: Players that would prefer to keep a stance that enhances DPS / TP Bubble Abilities [Bubble Abilities meaning shooting the Source Cannon at Players =D]
  
• *Stance Shifter: Players that can dance between stances and utilize all its capabilities by taking advantage of each Bonus given by the stances.

Abilities and Spells are affected by the Stance the Mythic is using. The partial bonus is written below the description of the Ability or Spell.
This is somewhat bringing back that stance dance mechanic; where the Mystic Chemist has to switch to Unbelief in order to attain and pump out as much DPS as possible to gain TP.

The Mystic Chemist has basic Aetherial Art Healing spells at its disposal, but the Mystic's full potential can be attained by switching stances and bouncing back and forth from Belief / Unbelief to be the most beneficial to the group.

The Source Cannon Mechanic:

The Source Cannon is what fires these "magical" bubbles that strikes enemies or party members with healing capabilities, or buffs.

• To envision it, imagine a paint ball gun, but with larger rounds that look like transparent bubbles that rapid fire to enemies or party members.

The Source Cannon utilizes MP; therefore firing the cannon generates TP (Imagine FFXI where your attacks granted TP) The opposite of the current system.

So perhaps it may be bit complex to have to Manage TP / MP together; but with Umbra it gives a constant TP Regen when its inflicting damage on a foe.

TP as usual is full, like other Jobs, therefore not hindering the Mystic too much when it comes to healing; however, in long fights, perhaps the Mystic as a player will have to be a bit more mindful, as they're going to have to be sure not to run out of MP or TP.

Again, there's Abilities and a good consistent flow of DPS helps accumulate the TP Gauge fast. But for players that just want to heal; they may find themselves struggling as they're not fully capitalizing on all the abilities the Mystic has at its disposal with its TP set of spells.

So the Source Cannon Weapon Skills consumes Mana Points.

Bubble Abilities (from the healing column) use up TP; 10% of all damage inflicted by Weapon Skills is converted to TP.

So TP Is the Life Force of the Source Cannon; while MP is the Ammunition that helps TP Accumulation.

Umbra (15) – [Instant / 30s] - Shoots target with a sapping aura that converts damage into TP. 1TP / Sec.

Invigoration (42) [Instant / 90s] Fires a bubble on the ground, creating a Sphere of Healing on Target Party member that heals those within with a regeneration aurora.
Enemies within the sphere are tagged with Drain Touch; partial damage inflicted by party members or self, absorb 10% of damage dealt.

• Duration: 14s
• Regen Potency + 150 [200 Belief]
• Additional Effect: Draining Touch 10% [15% Unbelief]

Corruption (60) [Unbelief Stance Only] [Instant / 60s] – Shoots enemy with a virus bubble that reduces Defense by 20%, the defense down begins reducing by 2% per second.

• Duration: 10s

Harmony (60) [Belief Stance Only] [Instant/ 10s] – Enhances Attack, Critical Hit Rate, and, Defense by 5% to party members within the sphere.

• Duration: 18s

Bolster (68) [Instant / 180s] – Enhances Stance bonuses by 5% at the expense of reducing duration by half.

Spiritual Ascension (70) [Instant / 60s] Enhances all healing spells by 50% and reduces cast time by 50%.

Quiescence (Bubble) [TP: 650] – Shattering a bubble of elixir, the Mystic Cures HP, MP, and any single status alignment to party members within range.

• Cures a Single Negative Alignment

Induration (Bubble) [TP: 500] [1.5s/ 2.5s] – Grants an Impenetrable Bubble Shield that protect target for 1/4th of Target’s Total HP.

• Duration: 5s

Phoenix Draught [2.5s / 350 TP] (Bubble) – Fires a resurrecting bubble that brings target back to life.

So the Source Cannon uses TP as it's "Source" of Healing; the Mystic as all regular jobs, have its TP Pool full, however, overusing the Source Cannon abilities depletes the TP fast; therefore keeping a steady inflow of TP: by using a simple DPS Rotation, keeps the TP pool from depleting too much.

I had to go back to the drawing board with the Mystic, mainly because I wasn't aware that there was already a job in the Final Fantasy Universe. So I took some ideas from the Mystic and the Chemist, and sort of fused them together and created this stand-alone concept that's nothing like the Mystic in tactics, BUT, it's fun and unique. Who wouldn't want to use a hand-cannon as healer? or as a means to heal party members?

I too would like to see a Chemist, the idea of one sort of strikes interest to me; but I also didn't want to make an entirely new Concept called a Chemist lol. I still may... but doubtful.

So I crafted this suggestion of fusing both a "Chemist / Mystic" that uses a "Source Cannon," to not only fire at enemies, but also fire at target party members too.

Hey Final Fantasy community; recently reworked the entire concept: sort of utilized some of the abilities / spells from its form in Ff tactics. Also incorporated a chemist style hand cannon that shoots bubbles at party members / enemies.

The bubbles for healing are called “Source” which use up TP
While the weapon skills use up Mana (which is the ammunition for the Source Cannon)

The Mystic also has a few Aetherial based spells that use Mana for healing; but the more powerful and unique coming from the Source Cannon.
