Astro's can cut up to 30 seconds off of Light Speed's CD time.

New to the forums, had an account just never really used it till now because I thought this should be mentioned (Haven't seen anyone mention this yet, if someone has, please ignore me or link to their post over it)

You cut up to 30 seconds off of Light Speed's cool down using Essential Dignity.

How or why does this matter? With the restrictions for DPS spells now gone for Light speed and the timer reduced to 120 seconds for its new cool down... A LOT of people over looked one thing; Essential Dignity, which can Reduces Light speed CD by 10 seconds every time it is used while also healing.

How to go about it? Pop, LS -> Spam Gravity till you can't -> Pop ED the moment LS is on CD and keep an eye on ED's Timer popping it every time it is up which in return reduces the timer on LS by 10 seconds. Been able to get 3 off before being able to use LS again doing this.

Basically you can turn the CD for Light Speed to 90 now allowing for earlier use of the skill. While 2 is more practical in use/battle/content in game towards your party (for Essential Dignity), I have been able to get it to 3 meaning I was able to cut 30 seconds off of the ability alone. If someone is skilled enough and time it out, they can easily do it too to have insane bursts of DPS or heck even max uses of heals every 90 seconds for Astro.

Mainly made this post because I haven't seen people talking about it and most I know forgot that Essential Dignity reduced the CD for Light Speed every time it was used. With the new changes and the DPS restrictions gone... Well... Happy Spamming I guess lol.

The issue is that lining Light Speed with Essential Dignity will give you more uptime, albeit barely, which makes the trait completely useless.

They should change the LS trait. Maybe it's better to change the trait from ED to draw.
Ex: draw reduce LS cooldown by 7-8 s, we can reduce the cooldown by 28-32 s (4x draw in 2 minutes) in total which is not that different from current trait (ED can reduce LS CD to 30 s).

SCH got a nice trait since the aetherflow CD is reduced as long as you use a skill that consumes aetherflow both for healing or dps ability, while AST only got CD reduction from ED only (we often save it for emergency healing). Hopefully, SE will change this.

Exactly my thought, LS get its CD reduced from using an emergency heal or at least something you don't randomly throw on cd. (especially not to reduce LS cd....)

I really wish they'd rework hyperlight speed to proc from draw (at least this should always be on cd) or even remove the trait altogether and put something new.
