I just reinstalled and it still doesn't work, i can't login because there is not a box to insert login information!

It is fixed now, I turned off the modem for 5 min, i went to the gym, when i was back it was fixed, don't know if that worked or what.
I had the black launcher issue earlier, and tried to reinstall. Am now in same position as OP and can't get anything to work. "Next" button does not do anything. Haven't changed anything from yesterday when I was playing, other than uninstalling and trying to install again. :(
Open Internet explorer/firefox etc. and empty your cache and cookies in the options should help.
It did for me 2 years ago.

Changing DNS, emptying cache, restarting router/modem/pc, etc., hasn't worked. Have altered some boot settings so I got to the log-in part of the launcher, but the actual Log In button doesn't work.
Not really sure what else to do, other than wait and see if maintenance makes a difference.
EDIT: Changed browser type in the boot file to "2", and now the game is updating!

Your modem probably had temporary files that were cleared when you shut off the modem. This can help if you run into any connection problems in the future.
