Black screen launcher
Hello there.
I am having quite some problems with the launcher not working, worked perfectly last night then just stopped working this morning.

I've tried restarting my pc, making sure there isn't a problem with my directX, cleared my browser cache in IE and changed the other suggested settings I could read through the other threads but nothing have helped. So I'm kind of at a loss here and really sad about it :c

Both me and my partner are having exactly the same issue, logged in the next morning to a black screen launcher.
Only difference is i'm not getting an error code just the black screen, hopefully this gets fixed after the maintenance that's coming on 21-05-18.
I don't think this is anything to do with us or on our end since it's affected both me and my partner at the exact same time as well as yourself.

Same here cannot log into the game launcher it's black, also cannot connect to Lodestone every other site works fine whats up?

Have the same issue,checked Mog Station n it doesnt work too.

Lodestone is working fine for me and I can log in to the Mogstation but the launcher window is black. None of the content is loading, including the login section, but it's not giving an error.

Same issue
I had the same issue. What i did was that i needed to open new ports on my router. Since i restarted my router i didnt work. I did everything that the forums everywhere suggested. It wasnt untill a friend of mine asked me to try logging on via my mobile nettwork (nettwork on my phone) to see if i could log on then, and i could. So try that and see if you can get inn. If you can you need to open ports on your router to allow for FF to be played. How you do that is different depending on your service provider. But you need to plot inn the TCP and UDP on this site https://portforward.com/final-fantasy-xiv/, for it to work.
At least that is what worked for me.
If you do this, you need to have a permanent IP adress aswell.

I had the same issue this morning, but it fixed itself after an hour or so.

Thank you for all the posts, I decided to take a break myself from trying to fix it because it was getting frustrating for me, but it seems to work now! ^^

Had same issue this morning, at that time I wasn't even able to reach any FFXIV website apart this forum (but cannot login).
But the issue solved itself in the afternoon.
